CHARUSAT EDUCATIONAL AND HEALTHCARE TRUST

The objective of all Charitable organizations the world over, are philanthropy and social well fare of society at large and advancement of humanity.

Likewise, the objective of Charusat Education and Healthcare Trust UK is advancement of the education and/or healthcare of the society it serves. The Charusat Educational and Healthcare Trust (CEHT) was incorporated on 30th April 2019 and was registered with the Charity Commission [registration No 1187844] in the UK on 10th February 2020 to bring relief to human lives by providing quality education and affordable healthcare services in UK and India.

In order to have the greatest possible impact on the scale and complexity of the challenges in India, we think differently about the challenges like affordability, accessibility, availability, and awareness and work towards effective solution by investing in new techniques, supporting scalable and sustainable projects, and making long term partnerships.

The Trust is currently associated with two well-known, not for profit, organizations viz, Charusat University and Charusat Hospital based in the rural area of Changa, Dist. Anand, India. These organizations are working in the areas of social development, education and healthcare. Brief details are narrated below:

Charotar University of Science and Technology – (CHARUSAT)

Charotar University of Science and Technology – (CHARUSAT) has a lineage of more than 120 years of social services. CHARUSAT University is a state university formed under Gujarat University Act in the year 2009. It is an “A” Grade university accredited by NAAC, Government of India. University works with the values of Honesty, Integrity and TOTAL Transparency. In its mission, it also weaves other social causes like Girls Education, Community Development, Entrepreneurship Development, Improvement of School Education and Healthcare amelioration.

CHARUSAT HOSPITAL

CHARUSAT Hospital was established by Charusat Healthcare and Research Foundation (CHRF) (registered Trust Registration No. F/1455/ANAND Dated 5th April 2012 under Bombay Public Trust Act 1950) a Not for Profit organization: with the main objective of making accessible and available quality healthcare services to all the classes of society at an affordable rate. It upholds the principles of Honesty, Integrity and Transparency. Charusat Hospital is the first standalone charitable multi-specialty hospital of Charotar region to be awarded with accreditation from National Accreditation Board for Hospital and Healthcare providers (NABH). It is functional with 100 beds and has capacity to expand up to 450 beds.
